Task
Give ONE old, damaged or unwanted item that you already own a useful second life. Complete the action rather than merely planning it.
Requirements

Select one safe item you already own. Do not buy a new item for the challenge.

Choose and complete ONE action: repair it, repurpose/upcycle it, or pass it on through a completed swap or donation.

In your description, identify the item and its original condition; state the action completed; and explain its new use or who can use it now (without identifying private individuals).

Submit ONE image with a written description (ideally a before-and-after collage of the same item) OR ONE video with a written description showing the item and the completed result. In the description, give the action date and at least TWO specific steps you took. Text-only challenge entries are not accepted.

Take reasonable safety precautions. Do not show another person’s face without consent.

Deadline
Complete and submit your challenge entry in Eco-Submissions between October 12 and December 12, 2026.
Rewards
Earn 50 Install & Learn campaign points for an approved entry. Each comment under your Eco-Warrior submission post earns 1 campaign point. You can also earn 10 points per correct answer in the Eco-Learn article "Before You Throw It Away, Think Again" Green Genius Trivia and 25 extra points each for qualifying participation in Bee-Creative, Sort At Source, Composting and DSWMC Sort it At the Source.
