Task
Practise TWO different food-waste prevention habits over a five-day period and record specific examples of what you saved or avoided wasting.
Requirements
-
Pick TWO actions from: check cupboards before shopping; plan a meal using food already at home; serve a portion you can finish; safely store food before it spoils; or safely reuse suitable leftovers.
-
Over five days, complete EACH of your two chosen actions on at least TWO occasions (at least four recorded actions in all).
-
For each recorded action, include the date, what you did, and a simple measurable result, such as “one banana used”, “two leftover portions eaten”, or “one unnecessary duplicate purchase avoided”.
-
Submit ONE image with a written description (for example, a clear photo of your completed five-day tracker) OR ONE video with a written description. Include all FOUR dated actions, your TWO habits and the quantities/results in the written description. Text-only challenge entries are not accepted.
-
End your description with one food-waste habit you will continue. Do not consume food that may be unsafe.

Food and supplies already available at home

Paper or notes app for a five-day record
